Valérie Grand''Maison (born 12 October 1988) is a blind Canadian swimmer. Swimming in the S13 disability category, she holds the world record for the 100, 200, 400 and 800 freestyle and the 400 individual medley. She has so far won three gold medals in the 2008 Summer Paralympics, one in the 100-metre butterfly, 100-metre and 400-metre freestyle. She is currently studying at McGill University in Arts & Science. The 2008 Summer Paralympic Games, the thirteenth Paralympics, took place in Beijing, China from September 6 to September 17, 2008.
