A simple, rapid and sensitive extractive Spectrophotometric method was developed for drug determination in pure and pharmaceutical preparations via ion pair formation with some dyestuff reagents namely bromothymol blue (BTB), bromophenol blue (BPB) and eriochrome blue black R (EBBR), Various analytical parameters have been evaluated and the results have been validated by statistical data. No interference was observed from common excipients present in pharmaceutical formulations.

My research work is focused on drug analysis using spectrophotometry ( via Charge Transfer and Ion Pair formation) and ion selective electrodes (screen printed, carbon paste and PVC electrodes).
