Some traditional physiotherapy treatments, which use repetitive and monotonous exercises, can discourage patients, often causing them to abandon the rehabilitation process. Activities that make the work more dynamic, that are more similar to daily activities, that act on perception and agility and that interact with technologies can contribute to better rehabilitation results. The aim of this study was to develop a device to capture hand position data using the Leap Motion Controller (LM) motion sensor. The movement of the right hand, in which an object is taken from one point to another using a support, was standardized using arithmetic means and standard deviations so that it can be used as an assessment tool for patients with pathologies that cause motor deficits in the hand.
