This study is a unique one comparing the usage data of two universities. The highly used databases in both the universities are Science direct, SCIFINDER , and Biological Abstracts. Online journals and databases are supplementing their immediate research needs. User community in both universities prefer print and e-journals for future subscription. Most preferred search engine is Google by both the universities. When the information sources are not sufficient the user community in both universities get the required information from other local libraries and document delivery centers.
