Due to this, the results were verified and revealed that the relevant natural resources in the locality are rivers, medicinal and edible plants, which are of great contribution for the development not only of tourism but also of economic character. The present investigation showed that the canton of Pasaje has important natural resources, despite the lack of an inventory of these resources, Pasaje contributes to local tourism development in a sustainable manner.
