Paul Williams, geboren 1948, ist einer der bekanntesten amerikanischen Rockjournalisten. Er gilt als der "Pionier des modernen Rockjournalismus"; bereits 1966 gründete er "Crawdaddy!", das erste amerikanische Rockmagazin. Bislang sind von ihm zwanzig Bücher erschienen. Er lebt in Kalifornien.
