Author Adam Powell has followed North Carolina football for two decades and has written books on both the Atlantic Coast Conference and the UNC basketball team. A 2001 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Powell has written for the Sanford Herald daily newspaper, Cavalier Corner magazine, and various Web sites dedicated to UNC athletics, including the former Tar Heel Report and current Carolina Blue (www.northcarolina.rivals.com).
