Autorenporträt
Julia E. Clements lives in the north of Italy with her husband, two sons, and gorgeous rescue cat, Pan. She started writing children's books when her first son was about six years old. She used to love reading books by Enid Blyton and C.S. Lewis, and when she couldn't find anything similar, she decided to write some herself! She loves Italy - the food, the country and the people - and can now speak the language fluently, which is why you find some Italian words in her books. She hopes to write books that children will love to read and re-read over the years while accompanying them through their childhood and adolescence, leaving them with fond memories, just as the books she read have left their mark on her.
