The multiplicity of possible GPR uses makes obvious the consideration that it is an essential and multi-tasking operation, in objectively complex fields and employing investigation tools of various kinds. The purpose of this book is to progress the ability to calibrate the GPR intervention in a correct way, facing different problems and difficulties. The cooperation of the various 'entities' involved during a GPR investigation is crucial for keeping alive the credibility of this technique in the future.

Pier Matteo Barone, PhD: adjunct professor at the American University of Rome teaching courses on Archaeology, Geophysics (GPR in particular), Geoarchaeology, Remote Sensing, Preservation of Cultural Heritage, and Forensic Geosciences. He has several collaboration with Italian and foreign universities and police forces.
