Guy Gavriel Kay was born and raised in Canada. He lives in Toronto, although he does most of his writing in Europe. His novels include `The Fionavar Tapestry¿ trilogy (described by `Interzone¿ as `the only fantasy work¿ that does not suffer by comparison with `The Lord of the Rings¿), `Tiganä and `A Song for Arbonne¿.
