The otherwise non-descript book cover photograph depicts two "American Banzai" trees (NYC) which are from 1986, so that's 35 years ago ! If left to grow freely, this vegetation would grow to be much higher & larger than even the other tree in the background. Each tree is about 4.5 feet tall, and has been trimmed periodically since these were mere twigs.
