Michael Paul Hurd was born in Michigan in 1959. Married to his wife, Sandy, since 1980, they have two sons and three grandchildren. Hurd is a veteran of the United States Air Force. His combined military and Federal civilian careers span 40 years. It is during this time that Hurd developed a love for writing and the deep research skills to author the "Lineage" series. This book is the fifth in that series.
