Produktbeschreibung
The application of ultrasound in the mining industry is an urgent scientific and technical task. Existing means of operational control of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of ore during its extraction and processing do not meet modern requirements. A number of the most important chemical, mineralogical, physical and mechanical characteristics of the solid phase of the pulp, including the degree of mineral disclosure during ore grinding, are not used to control technological processes due to the lack of devices for their determination. This monograph discusses some methods of measuring the characteristics of raw materials and ore dressing products based on the use of Lamb waves and bulk ultrasound waves. Their application in measuring systems allows determining the concentration of the solid phase of the pulp, the size and density of the crushed ore particles in it, and in combination with magnetometric and nuclear-physical measurement methods - the distribution of the useful component in different fractions of the crushed ore size.
