It introduces the concept of sustainable Development and outlines its historical development through the transition from Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It also discusses how youth can be harnessed as a major agent of change in achieving sustainable Development focusing on several pertinent youth issues in Uganda and the whole world, and concludes with the UN systems and its regional aim, explaining their role in the successful implementation of SDGs.
Autorenporträt
Kanyankole Hervy ist ein junger Rechtsanwalt mit einer Ausbildung an der Kampala International University. Er ist an mehreren Projekten zur Mobilisierung der Jugend im Westen Ugandas beteiligt und hat sich als Bindeglied zwischen der Landjugend und der städtischen Jugend in Uganda etabliert. Dr. Mbabazi Mbabazize ist ein Entwicklungsökonom, der mehrere junge und vielversprechende Anwälte betreut hat.
