A journey into the memory of the city of Uberlândia-MG, are the traced courses of this creative process. It reports on the creation of "Uberland, the Garden Island of the Rotten Flour Hinterland", an affective cartography about the urban social imaginary of progress in the city of Uberlândia-MG. Through a historiographical, anthropological and poetic approach, the imaginary and its influence on the patrimonial, sociocultural and sociopolitical sphere were mapped. It was investigated how the myth acted, adapted, and reinvented itself in the imaginary of Uberlandia. The cartography was projected on the site https//uberlandart.com with access to files, images and public domain reports belonging to the Municipal Public Archive, which suggest possible navigations and readings about the collective memory of the prominent city of Uberlândia, through interactive maps that are conceived as an artistic device at the crossroads of web-art, memory and contemporary art.
