C.M.J. Sicking is Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the University of Leiden. He has published on Greek aspect usage and on Greek metre, as well as on the interpretation of a number of Greek authors. J.M. van Ophuijsen is Assistant Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the University of Leiden. Among his publications: Hephaestion. On Metre. Translation and Commentary (Brill, 1987).
