In addition, the prevalence of HCV, as an indicator of treatment response, must be monitored. · Continuation of successful clinical trials onSovaldi and comparing the factors affecting its response among CHC patients as compared to PEG-IFN/RBV results. · Understanding the transmission dynamics of HCV in Egypt, new infections and possibility of eradication of the disease using epidemiological models.
