Autorenporträt
In her long career Eveline L. Kanes worked as a literary translator of German poetry and prose, as well as Romanian poetry. Her work has appeared in numerous literary journals and she has published six books. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, Martin Kanes, Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature at the State University of New York and the University of California. She has two talented sons in art design management and corporate communications, and three grandchildren.
