Pooja Shivasharan se graduó en la Facultad de Odontología Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, en Solapur, y completó su posgrado en Odontología Pediátrica y Preventiva en la Facultad de Odontología Terna. Actualmente trabaja como profesora titular en el Yerla Dental College and Hospital, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
