The first objective was to investigate the extent of general public knowledge on the translators and translation profession and the second objective was an attempt to understand and evoke the Iranian translators' rights according to the available codes of conduct in Iran in comparison to those of the United Kingdom and the United States of America. The results showed that there were no complete and thorough understandings and laws of the translators' rights in Iran to make this profession as an independent one with related organizations to help the translator improve his/her knowledge and social life in order to translate efficiently with a relax mind future.
