This study is a result of a fieldwork conducted in October 2010. Derya F. Agis earned her B.A. in Italian Language andLiterature from Ankara University in 1999; she attended aSpecialization Course in Translation Studies at the University of Bari in 2002, and she earned her M.A. in English Linguistics from Hacettepe University in 2007. She taught Linguistics at the American University of Cyprus in Kyrenia.
