Born and raised in Michigan, growing up in a multi-season state, playing a myriad of sports throughout the year and wildly loving the adventures that changed from season to season, Dr. Cate Coker developed a love for movement, the human body and its expressive abilities in sport and recreation. She attended the University of Michigan, earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Health Science, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, she was awarded the 2005 Outstanding Student Award from the Michigan Physical Therapy Association and, along with her research team, she was awarded the 2006 Student Research Award from the American Physical Therapy Association in San Diego, CA. In 2015, she moved to Oahu and began a new adventure of entrepreneurship, authorship and continued work as a physical therapist there. Her most recent project, titled "Train With Intelligence" is an endeavor to bring her unique knowledge and background into the service of athletes as they pursue excellence in their game!
