Excessive speed is one of the main risk factors in road traffic safety, increasing accident probability and affecting accident severity.Experimental research of the traffic calming measures allocation effect on the driving speed is presented in this project. Controlling the speed of vehicles is essential in some parts of the roadway. One way of controlling speed is to use static control devices i.e., traffic calming measures, which reduce the speeds of vehicles and thereby increase safety, while produce discomfort when crossing over it.The data are collected using a video camera and analyzed the video using the MPC-HC player for getting the time traveled between two points.
