Trade Unions Futures depicts a synthesis of trends in a globalized context for Trade Unions, considering that this context is changing. The challenges that the Unions and face are manifold. Paulo Almeida,received the Ph.D degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with specialization in Telecommunications, from the University of Coimbra, Portugal in 2014. Since 2007, he is with Instituto de Telecomunicações, Portugal. Currently, his research interests are radio-over-fiber systems and optical access networks.
