Produktbeschreibung
The development of trade in motorized irrigation pumps is considered to be one of the main causes of the development of irrigated agriculture, which has proved to be essential in Burkina Faso in order to ensure the stability of agricultural production. The increasing demand for market garden products by urban and rural populations is one of the main factors contributing to the success of motorized irrigation. This study, which focuses on the market for motorized pumps, their operation and their technical characteristics, provides a set of answers and lessons learned from surveys and observations in the field. The diagnosis of the operation of motor pumps has enabled us to determine the state of use of these materials on sites located in the departments of Loumbila, Mogtédo and around Lake Bam in Kongoussi. The aim was to identify the different makes and models of motorized pumps, their characteristics as well as their purchase costs, to study their performance and to propose remedies to the problems encountered.
