Over the past few decades, nanoparticles of noble metals such as silver exhibited significantly distinct physical, chemical and biological properties from their bulk counterparts. AgNPs have been used extensively as anti-bacterial agents in the health industry, food storage, textile coatings and a number of environmental applications. It is important to note that despite of decades of use, the evidence of toxicity of silver is still not clear. The aim of present work is to investigate the possibility of synthesizing AgNPs by reduction method and to study in vivo cytotoxicity and Molecular responses . The results provided scientific evidence for understanding the biosafety and potential clinical risk of AgNPs-based products.
