This marvelous new photographic history was compiled to honor the hard-working and dedicated citizens who have lived and labored together over the years in the Township of Ocean.

Authors Marjorie Edelson and Kay Zimmerer are members of the Township of Ocean Historical Museum, from whose archives many of the images in this collection have been drawn. In 1976, the two collaborated on another publication entitled An Historical Perspective of the Township of Ocean. Their affection for the township and knowledge of its history are evident in this exciting new work, which will surely be treasured by resident and visitor alike.
