O Dr. Ernest Dube é doutorado em Estudos de Desenvolvimento pela Universidade Estatal de Midlands (MSU), um MSc em Estudos de Desenvolvimento (NUST), um Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing (ZOU) e um Diploma em Desenvolvimento e Gestão de Catástrofes (NUST). Actualmente, é professor visitante na Zimbabwe Open University e na Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University.
