Substantial daily output of waste by city dwellers is creating difficult situation to endorse proper processing technology. Space for finding landfill in urban areas is another problem. This book considers spatial and non-spatial economic variables and sources of environmental pollutant management in order to manage sustainable city. Toyohashi City of Japan has been taken into consideration as the study area.

Nahid Hossain completed Doctor of Engineering in Environmental Economics from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan in 2012. He is Master of Economics from Yamaguchi University, Japan and Master of Commerce in Finance from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has published several academic journal articles. He is a civil servant in Bangladesh.
