Deacon Rob Borchert serves as a Permanent Deacon at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, Florida. He has been a Deacon for 36 years and has often made the faith come alive in his lively homilies and RICA teaching. He served as the Spiritual Director for the group of pilgrims rom his parish for this trip to the Holy Land. Lorrie Borchert is a published author of two books, a Practical Guide for Making Your Future Real and a Journal Companion for Making Your Future Real. She is a life coach and works with clients to help them create the life they always dreamed about, including designing bucket list adventures.Rob and Lorrie have six children and eleven grandchildren and live with their cat, Miep, in Vero Beach, Florida.
