This study measures the Total Factor Productivity level of Pakistan s Knitted Garment Industry. Data covering financial and production variables were collected from government offices and through an exploratory survey. The data were analysed with the help of SPSS software. This analysis confirmed that the Total Factor Productivity of Pakistan s Knitted Garment Industry is comparatively low. The current study attempts to assess the impact of seven different factors on Total Factor Productivity. The significance of these factors was assessed with the help of regression models. The analysis showed that some of selected variables have a direct relationship with Total Factor Productivity. However, it is presumed that there are certain factors, particularly factors covering qualitative areas of the industry, which might have a significant relationship but are missing.

He got MBA degree from Hamdard University Karachi Pakistan in 2001. He finished his MPhil from The University of Manchester UK in 2008. He completed PhD from Technical University Liberec Czech Republic.
