Do you ever get tired of waiting for your turn? Or are you ever so excited about something that you just can't hold it in? Tommy feels that way every day! Tommy is a fun-loving kid who gets very excited about learning new things! But he is used to doing these things in a hands-on way. Join him as he thinks about new ways that we can learn and uncovers the hidden value in taking turns. Kids will love this colorful adventure and, along with Tommy, they will discover the important tools of listening and observation while gaining an understanding of how to navigate the lifetime dance of taking turns. Tommy Takes Turns is another fun and engaging educational story from Sommer Michelle Garner's Life Lessons Through Letters series. These books are written for kids and illustrated by kids with the goal of inspiring learning, creativity, and independent thinking in early readers. Excellent as a read-along for those just starting out or as a read alone for beginner readers to encourage conversation and help children consider the true benefits of taking turns.
Autorenporträt
Sommer Michelle Garner is passionate about children's literacy and literature, fitness, spending time with her husband, helping out at her church, teaching singing, and engaging in many other aspects of the arts. She takes turns spending her time immersed in each of these areas. This is her sixth published children's book, and the third book in her Life Lessons Through Letters series, which is essentially books that are for kids, by kids. In her teaching and her writing, Sommer believes that it is important to involve students in the artistic and creative processes as much as she possibly can. Sommer recently relocated from southcentral Pennsylvania to Wildwood, Florida, and is happy to finally have her turn to live in the Sunshine State.
