Dawnaya Key lives in her hometown of Sullivan, Illinois with her husband and two children. A graduate of Eastern Illinois University, she dedicates herself to teaching upper-level high school Spanish. Encouraged by many family members, friends, and students to share her story, she embarked on the journey to publish Tomate.
