My name is Susie Kay. I grew up in Somers Point, New Jersey, by the bay. I married young and worked and went to school full-time while pregnant to become an RN. I love to write, and they wanted to make me a writer in college. I had two children and got divorced in 1992. I moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After living in Brant, New York, in the Seneca Indian reservation with Grandmother Twyla Nitch, I had a premonition to move back home, and I did. My brother passed away one week later. I went home on weekends for my children and my mother and took care of her when she was sick. She had a great giggle. We the Stovers all did.
