Lynn Domenick McKenzie is also the author of Toby the Trusting Turtle, another Little Brown House on the Hill story. Mrs. McKenzie holds a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Behavioral Sciences and has studied early childhood development. Mrs. McKenzie currently lives in Wilmette, Illinois with her husband, Charles, and her little dog named "Sadie", who she calls "Sadie Lady." From the author, "As I look back on my life, it is the quiet summer evenings with the frogs croaking in the night.
