Ashis Nandy, political psychologist and sociologist of science, is Director and Senior Fellow, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (New Delhi) and Chairperson, Committee for Cultural Choices and Global Futures (New Delhi). His most recent publications include Talking India: Ashis Nandy in Conversation with Ramin Jahanbegloo (2006) and A Very Popular Exile (2007).
