Sandra Leigh Gable was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in the small settlement of Lowell, Washington, up the hill from the lush green Snohomish River Valley with an alluring view of the Cascade Mountain range. At the age of nine she penned her first two Hitchcockian mystery stories while sitting in an abandoned shack next to the railroad tracks on the banks of the raging Snohomish River. The setting for her first novel is a town nestled between the Cascade and Olympic mountains, notoriously known for its spectral figures darting about turn-of-the-century Victorian homes and buildings. When she's not writing, Sandra enjoys painting with watercolors, working in her vegetable gardens, and experiencing fun times with her friends.
