Autorenporträt
Sue Hardesty (author/photographer): Life in rural Arizona where her mother enjoyed prospecting and her father farmed and ranched shaped Sue's life during the 1930s and 1940s. Her college degree in English after a few years of exploration led her to teaching in high school before becoming an audiovisual specialist in high schools. At this time, she developed her interest in photography, and her interest in reading and teaching literature was the background for her having published four novels, two nonfiction books, and two short stories. (Sue's first novel disappeared after problems with computers in the 1980s.) After 27 years working in education, Sue retired to the Oregon Coast with Nel. She now writes an eclectic Facebook page, the inspiration for Through the Knothole.
