Kathryn Knake was raised in a Norwegian Swedish household in a very isolated area of northern Minnesota which, she figures, has given her a lot of her basic character. She's always been drawn to words and how they are placed in literature and music. As a teenager, she found Bob Dylan's use of words new and stabbing, and the old traditional poetry placement of words masterful. She has a good sense of philosophy, imagination, and humor and so hopes that you enjoy the creativity and the placement of her words.
