Produktbeschreibung
This book by Md Nawrose Fatemi focused on the correlation between thermal comfort and work productivity with a view to improve the workplace environment in production spaces of Ready Made Garments (RMG) Factories. RMG sectors in Bangladesh have been expanding exponentially since the late 1970s and play a pivotal role in its economy. But over the last few years, those factories have been heavily criticized for their working environment in which employees have to work. This study, therefore, aimed to set an outline for thermal comfort (required temperature levels along with other comfort factors specifically humidity and wind speed) to attain comfortable conditions for the development of the workers' work efficiency in production spaces. The analysis should help the factory owners to upgrade the working environment as well as to meet the buyers' demand on compliance standard in their factories.
