Tim grew up in a family of writers in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin and earned a master's degree in speech pathology from the University of Iowa. Tim has worked as a therapist, teacher and advocate for children and adults with special needs. Tim and his wife, Rachel are avid travelers and make their home in St. Louis.
