The pandemic has hit Guatemala like a hurricane, dramatically altering the population's equilibrium and certainties. Fear, uncertainty, stress... are some of the psychological manifestations that have characterized the quarantine period, testing the adaptive capacities that every human being has. In this context, what is the role of psychology? How can we meet the challenge of reaching the entire population, including the most marginalized groups, without putting them at risk and avoiding physical contact? This publication aims to provide an answer to these and many other questions, presenting a virtual therapeutic approach promoted in a community near Guatemala City, considered one of the most vulnerable. The book describes the methodology and the theoretical premises that have guided the realization of the project of CONACMI, a Guatemalan NGO dedicated to the integral protection of children and youth, reporting the actions carried out and the results obtained in each therapeuticgroup. The treatment, in short, represents an opportunity to understand the complexity of the impact of the pandemic and to share experiences and stimuli.
