The book looks into the taxonomical study of the wood rotting fungi and mainly deals with a taxonomical treatment of the identified species based on morphological features and structures. The work was the first of its nature in the region at the time of starting the study. It is hoped that the book would be a starter for further studies and exploration for future researchers and avid lovers of these group of fungi in the region.
Autorenporträt
Dr. John Zothanzama is the pioneer researcher on the Wood Rotting Fungi for the State of Meghalaya in India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences in Mizoram University. His research focus is mainly on wood and soil inhabiting fungi.
