Mike Kenny is one of Britain's leading children's playwrights. His previous work, The Railway Children, ran for two sell-out seasons at York Theatre Royal before transferring to Waterloo station to critical acclaim. The play also won an Oliver award for Best Entertainment, and has toured worldwide. Other work includes adaptations of Flat Stanley, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, as well as original works Twin Stars and La Nuit Electrique (Electric Darkness).
