The contributors are from a variety of different Indian universities and are keen scholars of American history, politics and foreign relations. The first six chapters of the book concentrate on Indo-US relations, the following three are on America's relations with Europe and the remaining two deal with the internal politics of the USA and political thought. The book covers the different aspects of Indo-US relations, the US's foreign relations with Europe, American politics and Indian-Americans. The book covers developments primarily from the early nineties to the dawn of the new millennium. This book will be invaluable to the students and teachers of American history, the American political system and American foreign relations especially Indo-US relations. Vinay K Malhotra, B.A (Honours), M.A (Gold Medalist), Ph.D, has been engaged in teaching and research for 23 years. He has published 12 books, 25 papers and 4 book reviews mainly in the area of international relations. He is a life member of the IAAS, IPSA, IACS, IACIS-Hyderabad, ILI-New Delhi, IIPA-New Delhi and has completed collaborative research with American, Canadian, Russian and Hungarian Professors. He is the Professor of Political Science and International Relations at the Post-graduate Dept. of Political Science, Gandhi Memorial National College (Kurukshetra University), Ambala Cantonment - 133 001, India. The University College of the Cariboo, Kamloops, BC, Canada has given him the status of affiliate and visiting Professor. He has also worked in Budapest University of Economic Sciences, Hungary and the Copenhagen Peace Research Institute, Denmark. He has also visited Russia, Austria, France, Norway and Sweden for academic and research purposes.
