Amy joined Decanter in October 2000 as editor, aged 28, and has spent 15 happy years since then, immersed in the world of wine and wine magazine publishing. In 2006 she became managing editor. Before joining Decanter, she had a career working on other magazines with a mostly male readership - first on What to Buy for Business (Reed Business Information), a buying guide to office equipment and services. Moving to customer magazine company Redwood in 1996, she worked as deputy editor on Psion User, AA Magazine and BT Talking Business.
