Kate M. Colby writes paranormal fantasy novels that feature female antiheroes, dark magic, seductive monsters, and spooky locales. She has also written a steampunk dystopian series and occasionally dabbles in creative nonfiction and poetry. Kate is currently pursuing a Master of Liberal Arts in Creative Writing and Literature at Harvard Extension School. Her first novel, The Cogsmith's Daughter, has been taught in college courses, and her short fiction has been published in regional literary magazines and won local awards.
