"The plot strikes an ideal balance between action, drama, mystery, and revenge in a story that is hard to put down." - Liz Konkel, Readers' Favorite Book Reviews THE TWELVE SISTERS, where revenge becomes a work of art. ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿Turned inside out by a legend, the worlds of fine art and organized crime collide in knife-edge twists and turns as a bone deep vendetta is pitted against corruption and greed. Retribution is deliciously served cold in this fast-paced tale of betrayal and revenge. After graduating from George Washington University with a Masters in Italian Renaissance art, Madeleine Costanzo heads to the world's richest country to pursue her dream of opening Europe's preeminent art gallery. It's 1975 and her world is full of possibilities, until a chance encounter with the handsome heir apparent to northern Italy's powerful underworld family upends her life's trajectory. When a horrific tragedy sets in motion a series of unforgivable betrayals, shockwaves rattle Madeleine's immediate family and echo through the next generation. Resting in the eye of the storm are the legendary lost artworks of 15th century San Russo.
