Matthew Alan Hill is the International Relations and Politics Lead at Liverpool John Moores University in the UK. His current research interests are in US foreign policy, in particular, democracy promotion, and dystopian world predictions. His most recent publication is The Rise and Fall of US Democracy Promotion: From Carter to Biden (Routledge, 2022). Steven Hurst is Reader in Politics at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK. His research interests are US foreign policy toward the Middle East and aspects of Foreign Policy Analysis. He is the author most recently of The United States and the Iranian Nuclear Programme (2018).
