Author Apara Mahal Sylvester lives in New Jersey with her husband and cats. She is an avid writer. Her debut book, Angel Child, was her memoir. A subsequent memoir was; A Hospital Chaplain Intern's Journey. Apara has since become interested in writing children's books: Down By The River Where Dreams Come True, her first children's book based on her love for her own cats, Babe and Boo Boo and cats everywhere. Her other children's books are: Cranky Frankie, and The Lost Duck, Charlie the Baseball Cat, Lucy's Way Home, Angel Tree, and most recently, John's Best Day Ever, and The Tale of Kitten and Ladybug, both published by Pen It!
